User driven innovation: “De små spiser”

Aarhus University, 2009
As a part of the research network NFBi I was a part of a cross research project looking into how the – at that time – new Social Media Facebook could be used for a user driven innovation process. In this project focus was on the creation of a possible new line of products for the food company Tulip. They wished to be a part of the public procurement regarding food supply in the Danish kinder gardens. We created a role playing game application where the users could choose between different roles (child, parent, politician, kindergarten teacher) and they where faced with different dilemmas regarding the food in the kinder gardens. Depending on their answers they ended with a financial plus or minus which their characters could chose to either spend or save on different matters (e.g. a new play garden or fewer kinder garden teachers etc.)
